Chevrolet Malibu Eco, Buick LaCrosse & Buick Regal Sedans Recall

Sometimes it looks funny writing all the time about vehicles recalling. First Toyota was hit due to sticky accelerator, all the giant Japanese automakers faced problems of airbag and now German automaker BMW suffered from faulty airbag problem. Now it seems all the car makers will have to face vehicles recalling.

Due to the problem of circuit boards, GM is recalling 38,197 model 2012 year Chevrolet and Buick eAssist light hybrid. According to the Los Angeles Times, circuit board problem in the trunk can cause a fire.

Affected Sedan Vehicles are given below.

  • Chevrolet Malibu Eco
  • Buick LaCrosse
  • Buick RegalChevrolet Malibu Eco Recall

The newspaper reported that circuit problem in the trunk can be overheated, causing 12 volt car battery to drain and can put some indicator lights turn on. If the drivers ignore the warning lights, a fire can occur by engine stalling. News Paper also stated that this issue is not related to the eAssist Hybrid system’s lithium-ion battery.

Although no time is specified of notifying owners of the cars yet soon it will be announced. If Owners of Buick LaCrosses, Malibu Ecos and Buick Regals notice any kind of warning lights, immediately take their cars to a car dealer.
