RAV4 2013 Got “Good” Ranking In IIHS Safety Test

Toyota RAV4  2013 the compact crossover has received a good rating in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Test. The redesigned RAV4 has come out in 2013 with a better exterior and comfortable interior look. The solidness of the body and the safety is also enhanced in RAV4 2013 and that is why it has passed the IIHS crash test with good marks.

RAV4 in IIHS Safety Test

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety stated that RAV4 has received the “Top Safety Pick” award in the test. The compact crossover gained the rating of “Good” in all of the tests including overlap front, rollover, side and in the rear crash. The most improved factor of 2013 RAV4 is the strength of “Roof”. One of the spokesperson Kristin Nevels from IIHS said that the new RAV4’s roof is as strong as it can bear 5 SUVs weight which are same to RAV4.

RAV4 2013 also has some competitors like Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5 have also received the “Top Safety Award” and the “Good” ratings.
